Post 18 options evening
We hosted a Post-18 Options Evening for Year 12 students and
their parents/carers, providing guidance on university,
apprenticeships, and alternative pathways.
Celebrated National Career Campaigns
Throughout the year, we celebrated key national careers
campaigns: Green Careers Week, Creative Careers Week,
National Apprenticeship Week, and National Careers Week, with
assemblies, lunchtime talks, and guest speakers woven into
lessons to inspire students
STEM/Engineering Event at Crowne Plaza,
organised by the
ree Rivers Alliance.
We took a group of Year 10 and Year 12 students to a STEM
and Engineering event at the Crowne Plaza, organised by the
Three Rivers Alliance (AGS, KES, SGGS and Alcester
Academy). It was a fantastic opportunity to explore STEM
careers, take part in hands-on activities and hear from industry
professionals.
Students were able to experience a
day at NFU Mutual
To support informed decision-making about Post-18 destinations,
University and Apprenticeship speakers were integrated into PSHE
lessons, offering students first-hand insights into their next steps.
Work Experience for students in
Year 10 & Year 12
All of our Year 10 and Year 12 students took part in Work
Experience placements, gaining exposure to real-world
workplaces and developing essential employability skills.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Mrs Lardner for all her hard work and dedication this
academic year. Her commitment to securing the very best opportunities for our students has had a
direct and lasting impact on helping them explore career options and make informed choices about
their futures. From building partnerships with external organisations to organising inspiring events
and initiatives, her efforts have ensured that our careers programme continues to thrive and truly
reflects our vision of shaping futures.
