INTRODUCTION
Reflections from
Mrs Cornell, Headteacher
As the 2024-2025 academic year draws to a
close, we reflect on the remarkable journey
our students have taken, not only in their
academic achievements, but in their personal
growth and development. At Stratford Girls’
Grammar School (SGGS), we believe that
education is about more than grades and
exams; it’s about ‘Shaping Futures’. This
‘Compendium of Personal Development’
celebrates the many ways our students have
flourished, found their voice, and grown into
confident, capable individuals.
Throughout the year, SGGS has offered a
rich and varied programme of opportunities
that extend far beyond the classroom. From
sport, drama, music, clubs, and trips to
leadership roles and community engagement,
every experience has been designed to
nurture essential skills, build character, and
foster independence.
Our ethos - an individualised approach to
education - remains at the heart of everything
we do. We believe in each student,
recognising them for who they are and
encouraging them to pursue their ambitions. This belief creates an immersive and
engaging environment that leads to all-round success, both during their SGGS
years and beyond. Our alumnae continue to inspire us with the impact they make in
the world, and this year’s cohort is already following in their footsteps.
As an all-girls school, we are proud to provide a space where students can break
gender stereotypes, build self-belief, and thrive without distraction. Our tailored
curriculum and co-curricular programmes empower young people to lead, speak
with confidence, and embrace challenge with resilience and purpose.
