WEST MIDLANDS CHAMPIONS!
In February, Stratford Girls’ Grammar School’s U14 Netball Squad made
history by being crowned West Midlands Champions for the first time ever!
The team delivered exceptional performances throughout the competition and
became the first state school in over a decade to win this prestigious title.
Their journey to victory was marked by determination and skill. They opened
the tournament with a commanding 23–5 win, secured a hard-fought 13–8
semi-final victory, and went on to dominate the final with an emphatic 18–5
triumph.
This remarkable achievement not only secured their place in the National
Finals but also showcased their teamwork, resilience, and talent – qualities
that made them stand out against tough opposition.
The school community remains incredibly proud of the squad for their
success and the way they represented SGGS at such a high level of
competition.
